Selection of Model Project for Advanced Life Cycle Refrigerant Management in developing countries

MOEJ and IFL Secretariat conducted a review and selected the model project.
Project Operator: DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD
Overview: The project focuses on the recovery and reclamation of refrigerants from air-conditioning equipment at the time of equipment disposal. It aims to establish institutional and technical foundations for the sound implementation of a sustainable refrigerant life cycle management (LRM) system, in order to build a refrigerant value chain (refrigerant ecosystem) in Viet Nam and Malaysia.
