The Asia Group Seminar on Fluorocarbons Life Cycle Management has been convened since 2021 by the MOEJ.
In August 2024, the MOEJ, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) co-organized the Seminar to share updates of Lifecycle Refrigerant Management (LRM)’s policy, technical and financial aspects, convening approximately 100 participants on site and online, from various Asian countries and others.
Since its launch in 2019, the IFL has been working for mainstreaming of Life Cycle Refrigerant Management (LRM) discussion.
Resource Book for the Life cycle management of Fluorocarbons
-Good practice portfolio for policy makers- (MOEJ and CCAC 2022)
The MOEJ and the CCAC jointly published the Resource Book to showcase good practices on policies and measures related to LRM. Over 20 cases are introduced for reference in future LRM policy development.
Side Events at international conferences
The IFL and its partners organized side events at international conferences, such as MOP and OEWG sessions of the Montreal Protocol and the COP and SB sessions of the UNFCCC. Outcomes of these events are shared in this website. The availability of online streaming depends on conference facilities.
